The customs page cited in the search results gives a 6-month rule for other private road vehicles, but that appears to apply to certain non-tourist cases; for tourists, the stay is tied to the permitted reason/stay and the vehicle should be re-exported when that ends.

Foreign nationals and residents living abroad may enter the country in a vehicle bearing foreign registration plates and drive it as long as the reasons (visit, holiday, business) for it exist.
