Korean design studio Lotux Grey Studio has unveiled a dedicated camper van concept based on the Kia PV7. The model features a cargo area 65 cm longer than the PV5 and a wider body. It is equipped with NCM batteries of 71.5 kWh and 96.2 kWh, supporting 350 kW ultra-fast charging that can reach 80% in the mid-20-minute range. The battery allows up to 10 days of self-sufficient power without external electricity. The design includes a two-story pop-up roof with manual lifting and panels, accommodating four people. Dimensions for the long version: 5350 mm length, 1995 mm width, 1990 mm height, 3500 mm wheelbase. The production PV7 is expected in the second half of next year, followed by a light camper based on the PV5. Kia plans to roll out 23 derivative and conversion models globally.

In Como's Tavernola district, dozens of trees, including a century-old poplar, have been felled to expand the camper area at Piazzale Famiglia Mauri. The project, backed by a bipartisan city council vote, will more than double the number of motorhome pitches. There is no statewide law governing RV residency, so outside city limits and absent county zoning rules, parking and living in an RV are allowed indefinitely. Oklahoma City permits short-term RV occupancy for guests for a maximum of 14 days per calendar year, prohibits utility hookups and compensation, bans cooking inside, and allows only one RV per residence on a hard surface 11 feet from the curb. Tulsa allows parking in a garage, back or side yard with three feet from the property line, or one RV in front perpendicular to the street at least 12 feet from the curb; rules are relaxed for up to 48 hours for loading or unloading.

Campers who have stayed for years on the peninsula near Apatin propose a systematic redevelopment: more waste containers and clear conditions for camper trailers to remain. About one hundred camper trailers are currently on the peninsula, with roughly 30% of owners from Apatin and the rest from Sombor, Subotica and other parts of Vojvodina. According to Zoran Knežević, a single container at the entrance is insufficient, and parts of the area are not regularly maintained. Proposed solutions include sand refilling to raise the terrain, a central path from "Plava Ruža" to the tip, and division into plots with mandatory maintenance; campers say they are willing to pay a fee, lease or bid for space if clear rules are established. The 29-hectare peninsula is owned by the Provincial Government, while "Vojvodinašume" manages only the forest, not the land.

From April 1 to October 31, New Brighton State Beach, one of California's most popular beachfront campgrounds, will charge early arrivals $10 per parking space due to high volume and limited parking for larger RVs. Early parking is available only at Seacliff (Upper day use lot) or Manresa Main State Beaches, subject to availability. The campground has 11 RV hookup sites with electricity only, a maximum consecutive stay of seven days followed by a 48-hour absence, and a 30-day annual limit. A $10 fee applies for dump station use, and discount pass holders must present their card and photo ID at check-in.
