The customs page says the vehicle may stay 90 days in the same calendar semester; it also mentions the TITV or Libreta de Paso por Aduanas for tourists. No special weight-based difference is stated.

National Customs Service / ChileAtiende: "The temporary admission of foreign private vehicles shall be for the period of stay authorised to the driver by the immigration authority, counted from the date of entry" and "the deadline for the return of the goods covered by the declaration is up to 90 calendar days from the date of entry into the country, extendable with justification for the same original period." Verbatim verification on the pages themselves is not possible: aduana.cl and chileatiende.gob.cl return HTTP 403 to automated requests, so the text was taken from search results for those same official pages — hence medium confidence.
