For a tourist vehicle, the allowance is conditional on the length of stay granted in the tourist’s visa; the customs page does not mention a Carnet de Passages en Douane.

Maximum: The maximum period of stay in Bolivia granted to tourist vehicles is six (6) months, extendable for another equal period, conditional on the length of stay granted in the tourist's visa.
