For tourist vehicles, the customs page says it is for foreigners only, with Ministry of Tourism approval, a valid customs pass book from an authorized car club, and a guarantee from Elmuhagir company. The page separately says pickup/Hammer/common transport vehicles do not get temporary release.

The permission for the tourist vehicle should be one month and could be renewed after the agree of the Director General.
