Official customs rules allow non-resident tourists to temporarily import a personal vehicle for up to 1 year per entry, with a possible extension of up to 60 additional days in documented exceptional circumstances. No Carnet de Passages is mentioned or required for private tourist vehicles; customs uses its own declaration forms.
