Temporary vehicle import to Eswatini
A visa and a vehicle are different law: the person and the car are given their terms by different authorities, and those terms need not match.
- Maximum term
- 30
- How the term is counted
- together with the driver’s stay
- Carnet de Passages
- Not required
- Extension
- Possible
WikiOverland reports a usual 30‑day vehicle stay for tourists in Swaziland, with possible extension. No Carnet is required for vehicles driven into any SACU country (including Swaziland); stay is effectively limited by the person’s immigration permission. Official ERS guidance says temporary importation concessions are only granted to foreign residents for the duration of their stay, suggesting the vehicle may stay as long as the visitor is legally in Eswatini.
Duration is usually 30 days, though I think you could ask for longer and they would give it no problem.
