A visa and a vehicle are different law: the person and the car are given their terms by different authorities, and those terms need not match.

The customs page says the TPD is for a passenger vehicle; it does not specify a different limit by weight. The A1 Carnet is mentioned as necessary only to prolong time periods.

It is only valid for a 06 months period, non-renewable.
