The official customs page seen in the search results says general temporary import can be longer in the Customs Policy Law, but the tourist vehicle rule is the shorter 3-month allowance; no weight-based variation was shown.
Instruction on temporary importation (Official Gazette of BiH 61/12, Indirect Taxation Authority of BiH): goods under the temporary import procedure may remain in the customs territory of BiH continuously or with interruptions for a total of six months in any twelve-month period. The PDF on the official portal uino.gov.ba would not yield text extraction (scanned/encoded font), so the rule was taken from a description of the same official document, without verbatim verification of the article on means of transport for private use. Hence confidence is medium, not high.
