Panama P09 based on Ford Transit Custom: a budget alternative to the Volkswagen California

Spanish brand Panama has introduced the P09 camper van built on the Ford Transit Custom. The model offers five seats and two sleeping areas (150×190 cm and in the pop-up roof). The indicative price in Southern Europe is around €52,900, significantly lower than the Volkswagen California (from €80,000). Equipment includes a kitchen module with a stove and sink, a refrigerator, and a foldable table. Limitations: a 10-liter fresh water tank, no fixed toilet or shower.

Camping World Holdings has launched the Coleman Mach 3 air conditioner for RVs in the US market. The unit provides 13,500 BTU cooling power for medium-sized vehicles and operates on 120V power. It features low noise levels and even air distribution. The product is not officially available in Europe.

Ames to debate drought emergency plan and motorhome overnight parking ordinance

The municipality of Ames (Galicia) will hold an ordinary plenary session on May 22 to discuss the municipal drought emergency plan after incorporating corrections requested by Augas de Galicia. Also on the agenda is an ordinance on motorhome parking and overnight stays, aimed at strengthening legal certainty for users and operators and promoting sustainable tourism. Additionally, the council will consider approving a rural road improvement project with a subsidy of €54,446.

Llanes introduces strict motorhome rules: €500 fine for overnight parking outside designated zone

The municipality of Llanes (Asturias) has approved regulations for motorhome parking and overnight stays. Free daytime parking is allowed on two lots, while overnight stays are only permitted in the La Talá zone for up to 48 hours. Violations carry a €500 fine and possible towing.
