Since June 2026, a municipal ordinance in Llanes, Asturias, has prohibited motorhome parking outside designated areas, overnight stays in any parking zone, and the deployment of camping equipment on public streets. About 325 fines were issued during the first season: roughly 25 in June, 60 in July and 240 in August. The fine is 500 euros, reduced to 250 euros for early payment. The municipality has 86 designated motorhome spaces. Mayor Enrique Riestra stated the measure aims to ensure coexistence, not to raise revenue.

From October 1, 2026, new parking rules for motorhomes in Spain prohibit extending awnings, opening swing windows and placing furniture outside. Fines reach 3000 euros.
At this year's Caravan Salon, Pössl presented the new Roadstar XL Evo campervan, built on a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter. The model measures 697 cm long, 202 cm wide and 285 cm high, and comes with four-wheel drive and 190 hp as standard. It has three seatbelts, an electric lifting bed, a 155-litre water tank and a 100-litre fridge. The vehicle has a gross weight of 4100 kg. Norwegian dealer Sola bobil has already ordered several units, but availability in Norway is not expected until next summer; the estimated price is from 1.6 million Norwegian kroner.
The author, who has owned motorhomes nearly seven metres long, reviewed the Weinsberg CaraBus 600 DQ Edition FIRE camper, which measures 5.99 metres. The model is built on a 3.5-tonne Fiat Ducato with a 2.2-litre 140 hp diesel engine and a six-speed manual gearbox. Dimensions are 2.05 metres wide and 2.82 metres high. Inside, there is a rear transverse bed (194 x 152/140 cm) and a front elevating bed (176 x 130 cm), a bathroom with a rotating Thetford cassette toilet, washbasin and shower, and a kitchen with two burners, a sink and a 95-litre compressor fridge with a 12.8-litre freezer. Fresh water tank capacity is 102 litres, grey water 90 litres. The manufacturer homologates up to five sleeping places, but for a family of four the two main beds are the logical choice. There are four homologated travel seats and ISOFIX for two child seats. The running order mass is 2,880 kg, maximum authorised weight 3,500 kg, and standard payload up to 115 kg.
The two-story motorhome The Heat, built by Anderson Mobile Estates for Will Smith in the early 2000s, is now available for rent at a tourist complex in Texas. The vehicle, spanning over 100 square meters on 22 wheels, was valued at over $2.5 million and was used by the actor for more than a decade during film shoots. The upper level, raised by eight hydraulic pistons, houses a 100-inch screen cinema for about 30 people, a bedroom with a double bed and desk. The bathroom, costing an estimated $25,000, features a sauna shower and a glass partition that switches from transparent to opaque at the push of a button.

Polish manufacturer Vannado unveiled the Karakorum camper at Caravan Salon 2026 in Düsseldorf, based on a MAN TGE or Mercedes Sprinter. The model offers up to four berths, including a 192 × 136 cm transverse bed in the standard version and an optional pop-top roof with a 110 × 190 cm mattress. All-wheel drive is available with off-road tyres, underbody protection, a snorkel, Seikel or Bilstein suspension and air suspension; ground clearance increases by 35 mm, plus another 15 mm with off-road tyres. The interior features real wood veneers (oak, ash, olive) and durable Forbo surfaces. Off-grid equipment includes a 360 W solar panel, a 100-litre fresh water tank, and an optional 400 Ah battery with a 3,000 W inverter and induction hob. The base price starts at €100,000, while the show model with 4x4, 8-speed automatic, Bushwakka awning, audio system, Bilstein suspension lift and Overland package costs €232,322.

Spanish company Panama has unveiled the P10H camper based on the Ford Tourneo Custom 2026 with a plug-in hybrid powertrain. It combines a 2.5-litre petrol engine and an electric motor for a total output of 232 hp and 525 Nm, with an 11.8 kWh battery providing 52 km of electric range, earning the DGT CERO environmental badge. Dimensions are 5.05 m long, 2.15 m wide and 2.06 m high, with a weight of 2,686 kg. Standard equipment includes LED headlights, lane-keeping assist, traffic sign recognition, collision warning, rear camera, 13-inch multimedia display, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, heated front seats and 17-inch alloy wheels. The camper section features a pop-up roof with a double bed, a 36-litre fridge, a two-burner gas hob, a sink, an outdoor shower, a boiler and insulation. Pricing starts at €73,990 without discounts, significantly undercutting a similarly equipped Volkswagen California eHybrid, which exceeds €95,000.

At the Caravan Salon in Düsseldorf, Concorde unveiled the new Centurion class with a modern oak interior, a large bathroom with macerator toilet and digital headlights; prices start at approximately 800,000 euros. The company also switched from Mastervolt to Victron for electrical systems and invested 10 million euros in a new service centre for its 45th anniversary. Frankia introduced the 8.3-metre Noctra Liner with tandem axle and the 6.99-metre Neo Liner with face-to-face layout and electric lift bed for two, while Dethleffs showed the c.core concept with solar panels in the awning, the new Graneo on Mercedes Sprinter with a 5.5-tonne chassis and the affordable Just Van. Rapido presented the V64 camper van with a completely new layout and pull-out table, Adria displayed the updated Alpina winter caravan, 2.50 metres wide in type 763 UK, and Bürstner exhibited the Habiton HMX 6.1, a 6-metre Mercedes camper van with a 2-metre-wide bed.
Swiss manufacturer Alpencamper has launched the ECO Slide Out, a bicycle caravan with a slide-out side section that adds 50 cm of width when parked. The sleeping area measures 1.40 by 1.96 metres, enough for two adults. The caravan weighs around 52 kg with a maximum payload of 32 kg and offers 270 litres of storage. Standard equipment includes a Weber coupling, four stabilising legs, an insulated window, a bed frame with table function and a compartment for a dry separation toilet. The version without the slide-out costs around 6,500 euros, while the ECO Slide Out is priced at 8,350 Swiss francs. Optional extras include an electric parking heater and a detachable camping unit.

Knaus unveiled the SKY TI VW 700 DEG semi-integrated motorhome on a Volkswagen Crafter chassis at the Lahti Caravan 2026 show. The 7.59-metre model features a standard Alde diesel heater and hydronic floor heating, reducing reliance on gas cylinders. A heated double floor protects water and heating pipes and provides storage. The base price is €136,521, with the show vehicle priced at €142,167.

German company Dethleffs has presented the new Graneo premium line. The first model, Graneo A 6823-2, is built on a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter. Price starts at $187,000, with options it may exceed $220,000. According to the Spanish edition Motor1.com, the base price in Germany is €169,999, with autonomy options €180,466.
The Niewiadow N126 ET is a Polish mini-caravan in production since 1973. The ET version adds a closed washroom with cassette toilet. Body length is 270 cm, permissible total weight 750 kg (optional 900 kg). Base price at the show was €15,060, with extras €17,491. It competes with the Turkish Tosbiq TK 240 and Ankaravan Micro 240.

An automated 25-pitch motorhome stopover has been operating in Guerlédan near Loudéac since April 2026. A night costs €12, with 2,300 overnight stays already recorded.
German manufacturer Eriba, known for its caravans, has introduced the Car 600 based on the Volkswagen Crafter. The vehicle, 5.99 m long and 2.07 m wide, features convertible furniture: the sink folds against the wall, the kitchen worktop extends, and the transverse bed lifts to free space for long items. The base price is 86,990 euros, while the show car with optional equipment costs 103,970 euros plus delivery charges.

German manufacturer Aurum Globe unveiled the Aurum R1 caravan, which transforms into a tiny house with 15 m² of living space after deploying automatic slide-outs.
German tuner Brabus has presented the luxury Big Boy 1200 motorhome based on the Mercedes-Benz Actros 5. A 12.8-litre diesel produces 530 hp and 2,600 Nm, with 30 m² of living space.
The Sealander caravan has been introduced, capable of operating both on land and on water. It measures 4.69 m long, 1.66 m wide, 1.93 m high, with a maximum weight of 750 kg. The body is a fibreglass-reinforced waterproof monocoque, the chassis is galvanised, and wheel bearings are sealed. On water, it reaches speeds up to 10 km/h with an outboard motor of up to 10 hp, has a draft of 47 cm and a payload of about 382 kg. It is classified as a Category D vessel, limiting use to sheltered waters. The interior includes a 205 × 151 cm bed, kitchen, shower and toilet (optional).
