Temporary importation rules set a general maximum of 6 months, extendable to 9 months, for goods including vehicles; in practice a tourist’s vehicle is normally limited by the person’s permitted stay and must be re‑exported. Bangladesh does not accept Carnet de Passages for vehicles.
