Wellhouse unveils micro-camper based on Kei Toyota/Daihatsu van

UK-based Wellhouse Leisure has announced a micro-camper conversion of the Daihatsu Wake (also sold as Toyota Pixis Mega). The vehicle features a 660cc turbo engine producing 64 hp, fuel economy of up to 45 mpg, and is available in 2WD or 4WD. The interior includes a kitchen with stove and sink, a portable toilet, a leisure battery, and rooftop solar panels. The front passenger seat converts into a single bed. Pre-orders are open starting at £17,995.

Toyota micro-camper van at low price heads west

UK-based Wellhouse Leisure has launched a micro-camper based on the Japanese kei van Daihatsu Wake (also known as Toyota Pixis Mega). The pre-order price is £17,995 (approx. $24,200). The vehicle features a 660cc engine producing 63 hp, automatic transmission, a pop-up roof, and basic living equipment: stove, sink, portable toilet. Fuel economy is estimated at 45 mpg. It is available in 2WD and 4WD versions.
