The 26th Shanghai International RV & Camping Expo will take place from May 22 to 24, 2026 at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai). At a press conference on May 10, industry experts called for a shift from large-scale expansion to quality and efficiency, with standardization identified as a key factor. Specialists from Argentina and Germany shared international experience.
The expo will bring together RVs, trailers, campers, caravans, camping gear, and auto accessories. A conference on camping standardization will be held in conjunction with China's first ISO/TC 228 meeting. Organizers are launching the "2026 Top 100 Camping Sites in China" competition, with over 200 sites already participating. A dedicated camping zone and a "four wheels × two wheels" themed market will also be featured.
The expo will implement an "RV+" strategy combining accessories, camping, tuning, and competitions, and will use GEO-generative AI for search optimization for the first time, which organizers claim will reduce customer acquisition costs by 30–40% and double conversion rates.
