From 1 October 2025 to 31 March 2026, ASL Biella and the National Institute for Health of Migrants (INMP) ran a mobile medicine project using a camper van. In 117 operational days, nurses carried out 4,596 interventions (according to other sources, 4,500) for 1,059 patients (according to other sources, over 1,000).
Procedures included 381 liver fibroscans. Fifty-seven citizens were identified and taken into care. The project covered remote areas of the province of Biella. According to management, the experience will be used to develop territorial healthcare and health homes.
