Poland has changed the rules for e-TOLL toll collection. The president signed a law under which the payment obligation is determined by the permissible maximum mass (PMM) of the towing vehicle, not the total mass of the combination. Vehicles with a PMM up to 3.5 t towing a trailer are therefore exempt from e-TOLL, even if the total mass exceeds 3.5 t.
The parliament adopted amendments to the road toll law that apply to all types of trailers, including cargo and residential, not just camping trailers. The change takes effect 60 days after the law's publication.
