The Civil Guard of Cantabria has uncovered a scheme of illegal import of caravans and vehicles from the UK through the Port of Santander. A total of 37 reports for alleged smuggling offenses have been filed concerning 32 caravans and 5 vehicles. The unpaid import duties are estimated at around 28,000 euros. The base was located in the municipality of Grado (Asturias), where 8 caravans and 5 cars were found without import documentation.
