On Saturday, the Caravan fair in Lahti hosted Vanlife Day. In the exhibition centre car park, among converted vans, a truck designed for travel was on display. Jarmo Annunen intends to use it for a round-the-world trip. Travel can be done with a dog and in winter frosts.

As part of the 60th anniversary of the Salon des Véhicules de Loisirs (SVDL), an exhibition titled “Expo Anniversaire” showcases historic motorhomes and caravans. The display in Hall 2B at the Parc des Expositions du Bourget features around ten models produced between 1959 and 1979. Among them are caravans Riva Stella (1959), Hymer (1960) hitched to a Ford Taunus, Chollet 300 (1965), a wooden folding Rapido (1965), Eriba Puck (1970) and Notin Hirondelle (1977), as well as motorhomes Notin (1951), Volkswagen Combi T1 Westfalia (1966) and two Hymermobil integrated models: 520 D (1976) and 581 BS (1979). Visitors cannot access the interiors.

The outdoor and pet event ROAM RV-LIFE FEST 2026 will take place on October 24–25 at Tsukagoshi Resort in Kakegawa. The programme includes an exhibition of campers and RVs, a sauna area with a converted bus sauna, tent saunas, container saunas and barrel saunas, a food festival and a pet zone. Advance admission is 1,000 yen including tax, on the day 1,100 yen including tax, free for primary school children and younger. Sauna sessions require advance booking at 4,000 yen including tax. From 4 p.m., a separate programme is available only to camping and overnight-in-vehicle participants.
The 60th SVDL exhibition runs from 26 September to 4 October at Paris-Le Bourget. Premieres include the Concorde Centurion 1050 GI at €890,370 and the Kodiak 6x6 Premium at €996,000.
The 60th Salon des Véhicules de Loisirs will take place from 26 September to 4 October 2026 at the Paris-Le Bourget Exhibition Centre. The 2025 edition attracted nearly 87,000 visitors; the 2026 event expects over 150 exhibitors and 650 vehicles across 70,000 m². For the first time, an exhibition of the earliest models that marked the show's beginnings in the 1960s will be held. Stellantis Pro One will display the Citroën Holidays, Fiat Ducato Châssis Cabine and Captain Chair swivel seats; Rapido will present the Florium Belixter on a Mercedes Sprinter chassis; Pilote will show the Hanroad Switch based on a Renault Trafic; Westfalia will bring the Colombus Liner on a Fiat Ducato L4H3; Font Vendôme will exhibit the Leader Camp Elégance Sky-Up on a Citroën Jumper with a horizontally raising roof; Trigano will present the Chausson X640 Exclusive Line on a Fiat Ducato with an electrically retractable bed. A test centre will offer 25 vehicles for test drives.
Stellantis Pro One will occupy 198 m² at the Salon des véhicules de loisirs in the Paris-Le Bourget exhibition centre from 26 September to 4 October 2026. The group states that over 60% of the French motorhome market is based on vehicles from its ecosystem, without specifying whether this refers to annual registrations or the total fleet. The stand will feature the Fiat Ducato in special chassis-cab form, the Citroën Holidays, and the Citroën Jumper, Peugeot Boxer and Opel Movano bases. Twelve vehicles will be available for test drives with various configurations, engines and transmissions. Structural options include a lowered chassis and a rear track widened to 1,980 mm, which is 190 mm wider than the traditional track according to Fiat.
From 26 September to 4 October 2026, the Paris-Le Bourget exhibition centre will host the 60th Leisure Vehicle Show. Stellantis Pro One will present its motorhome solutions in Hall 2B at Stand B10, covering 198 m². Over 60% of the French motorhome market is based on vehicles from its brands. The FIAT Ducato Special Chassis Cab is featured, along with ADAS and Captain Chair swivel seats. Twelve vehicles are available for test drives.
The 60th VDL leisure vehicle show will take place from 26 September to 4 October 2026 at the Paris-Le Bourget exhibition centre. 150 exhibitors and 650 models are expected from European manufacturers including the Trigano, Pilote, Rapido and Hymer groups, as well as chassis suppliers Citroën, Fiat, Ford, Mercedes-Benz and Peugeot. According to UNI-VDL, 26,328 new leisure vehicles were registered in France last season: sales of coachbuilt, integrated and alcove motorhomes rose by 2.54% (11,918 units), while campervans and van conversions fell by 2.41% (14,410 units). In Europe, 215,000 new vehicles were registered in 2025, with Germany the largest market (75,368 new motorhomes sold), followed by France.
At the Caravan Salon in Düsseldorf, Concorde unveiled the new Centurion class with a modern oak interior, a large bathroom with macerator toilet and digital headlights; prices start at approximately 800,000 euros. The company also switched from Mastervolt to Victron for electrical systems and invested 10 million euros in a new service centre for its 45th anniversary. Frankia introduced the 8.3-metre Noctra Liner with tandem axle and the 6.99-metre Neo Liner with face-to-face layout and electric lift bed for two, while Dethleffs showed the c.core concept with solar panels in the awning, the new Graneo on Mercedes Sprinter with a 5.5-tonne chassis and the affordable Just Van. Rapido presented the V64 camper van with a completely new layout and pull-out table, Adria displayed the updated Alpina winter caravan, 2.50 metres wide in type 763 UK, and Bürstner exhibited the Habiton HMX 6.1, a 6-metre Mercedes camper van with a 2-metre-wide bed.

The 7th Central China (Wuhan) RV Camping and Tourism Expo, combined with a modified car culture festival, will run from October 10 to 12 in Wuhan. The event will take place at the Wuhan Keting · China Culture Expo Center. Around one hundred motorhome brands are expected to take part.
The 16th Master Camping-cars, Vans and Caravans will take place at the Rouen Exhibition Park from 8 to 12 October 2026. More than 215 vehicles will be on display, including new models, used vehicles with full warranty, and 2027 novelties. Visitors will have access to test drives, a large equipment and accessories store, free parking, on-site dining, and an overnight parking area. Organisers offer a half-price entry ticket for download.
Open camper days are being held in Ruma, Serbia, from 25 to 27 September 2026. About 30 vehicles are on display at the Andrić Company site at Industrijska 88.
The second Grand Motorhome Festival of Nancy will take place from 8 to 11 October 2026 at the DG8 Camping-Car 54 dealership in Laxou. More than 60 motorhomes, campervans and vans, both new and used, will be on display. The dealer is offering VDL Paris-Le Bourget show conditions valid only during these four days; a music group, food truck and a competition to win an electric bicycle are also planned. Opening hours are 9:00–19:00, and 10:00–18:00 on Sunday 11 October 2026.
Northern Germany's largest camping fair, "Caravan und Co.", opened in Rendsburg. Schleswig-Holstein's Minister of Economic Affairs and Tourism Claus Ruhe Madsen (CDU) emphasised the industry's importance for the state.
The Caravan und Co show in Rendsburg presents three approaches to creating a camper: series off-road models, individual DIY conversions, and interior upgrade solutions. The event showcases various concepts for holidays on wheels.
From 9 to 18 October 2026, Euro Service will hold a Grand Festival of motorhomes, campervans and caravans at its premises at 230 route de Grenoble, 69800 Saint-Priest, Lyon. The event will display 2027 novelties across all leisure vehicle categories, from campervans to motorhomes, including vans and caravans; a total of 150 vehicles will be exhibited. During the ten days, special offers include the same deals as at the Paris–Le Bourget show, a free accessory pack with any vehicle purchase, and personalised financing offers. Opening hours are 9:30 to 18:30 without interruption, including Sunday.
The organisers of Caravan Xpo have announced that the 2027 edition is already in planning, with dates to be published in November. The 2026 event at Hellerudsletta drew 6,483 visitors, roughly in line with last year, with the family-focused Saturday being the best-attended day. The show camp recorded around 700 overnight stays, a record.
On 2 and 3 October, Robert Harrer Reisemobile & Wohnwagencenter in Auen will host a camper show to mark the company's 40th anniversary. On the first day, a joint hike with Birgit and Robert Harrer starts at 11:00, followed from 18:00 by a programme for guests with their own camping vehicles and an evening gathering with live music. On the second day, a visit to the Almenland cheese tunnel with shuttle service begins at 10:00, a traditional costume fashion show takes place at 18:00, and the Edlseer perform at 20:00 in the festival tent. Pitches are available for guests with camping vehicles upon prior registration.
The Caravan und Co camping and outdoor show has opened in Rendsburg. From 24 to 27 September, more than 100 exhibitors are presenting new motorhomes, caravans and camper vans, along with accessories. A key feature is the Vanlife Village, where experienced self-builders give practical advice on converting vans. Organisers expect up to 30,000 visitors over four days.
The fifth Expo Rodantear, focused on motorhomes, caravans and travel equipment, will take place on 22–25 October 2026 in Tigre, Argentina, at the site at the intersection of Peru and Pedro Guareschi streets. The event is organised by AutocampingTV. In 2025 the exhibition drew over 19,000 visitors, up about 60% from more than 12,000 in 2024. It featured 11,600 square metres of exhibition space, 20 specialised talks, and AutocampingTV broadcasts accumulated over 30,000 views. Opening hours: 22–24 October from 12:00 to 20:00, 25 October from 10:00 to 18:00.
