The 2026 RV Aftermarket Conference is being held from Monday, Aug. 10 through Thursday, Aug. 13 at the Caribe Royale Resort in Orlando, Florida. The event features one-on-one appointment sessions between suppliers and distributors, along with industry discussions. According to the RV Industry Association, the aftermarket contributes 3,112 jobs, $306 million in wages, and over $1.8 billion in annual economic output. On Wednesday, Aug. 12, the RVIA will host the 2026 RV Aftermarket Awards, recognizing John Hawkins of Heartland RV with the Lifetime Achievement Award.
Arc Energy Labs has launched ArcNode, an AI-enabled power management platform for overland and RV electrical systems. The platform will be demonstrated live at the Rossmönster booth at Overland Expo Mountain West, held August 21-23 at The Ranch in Loveland, Colorado. ArcNode translates real-time system data into clear answers, runtime estimates, and proactive alerts, aiming to reduce confusion and service calls for owners while providing builders with usage analytics and system history.

The 24th Beijing RV World Camping Expo and the 33rd China International RV Camping Conference will be held from September 9 to 14, 2026, in Beijing. The exhibition period has been extended to six days, which organizers say will increase visitor numbers and improve opportunities for product displays and transactions. The exhibition area has been expanded, and the dedicated camping zone for RV owners has been enlarged.
At the 65th Caravan-Salon in Düsseldorf (Aug 28 – Sep 6), new motorhomes and campers are showcased. Demand for AWD and autonomous models grows, while caravans decline.
The 27th Shanghai International RV Show (RVSHOW) will take place from August 22 to 24, 2026, at the Shanghai Automobile Convention Center. The event is organized by Lucheng Road × RV Travel. The exhibition area will cover 50,000 square meters, with over 350 exhibitors and an expected 60,000+ visitors. According to organizers, 12,153 self-propelled motorhomes were registered in China in the first half of 2026, up 32.6% year-on-year. Camper registrations rose 64.2% to 5,315 units. New energy motorhome registrations reached 2,240 units, with penetration at 18.4%, compared to 0.3% in the first half of 2023. China's RV exports grew over 20% in value terms. Caravan (travel trailer) exports totaled approximately 21,036 units worth $264 million, with an average price of $12,550 per unit, up 34.1% from 2024.

The Carolinas Association of RV Parks and Campgrounds has opened registration for CARVC 2027, set for Jan 30–Feb 2 at Embassy Suites by Hilton in Myrtle Beach, SC.
Messe Düsseldorf hosts the international trade fairs CARAVAN SALON and boot. CARAVAN SALON will take place from August 29 to September 6, 2026, and boot from January 23 to 31, 2027. CARAVAN SALON will feature 93 exhibitors with camper vans, including VW Bulli, Ford Nugget, and Mercedes Marco Polo. boot expects around 1,500 companies from nearly 70 countries.
Huawei and Xiaomi have announced camping equipment and vehicle models. Huawei introduced the Xiangjie G9 SUV with an electric pop-up roof, while Xiaomi launched the SkyNomad series with the N90 Max featuring an integrated pop-up roof system. Both will be showcased at the Chengdu RV show on September 19.
The EXPO caravan program, featuring the Games Pavilion, took place today in Sremska Mitrovica. The event is part of preparations for the upcoming EXPO exhibition.
The CARAVAN SALON trade fair will take place in Düsseldorf from August 28 to September 6, showcasing the full range of mobile travel products across over 250,000 square meters. 93 exhibitors will present camper vans, including models based on the Citroen Jumper, Fiat Ducato, and Peugeot Boxer. From January 23 to 31, 2027, the boot Düsseldorf water sports fair will follow, expecting around 200,000 visitors and featuring more than 1,000 boats and yachts.
Reeve's light truck motorhome will be exhibited at the Chengdu RV Show from September 19 to 21. The vehicle is built on a light truck chassis and is positioned as a self-propelled motorhome. Visitors can inspect its design and features during the event.
Zweibrüder from Solingen will present its range of LED lights at the Caravan Salon in Düsseldorf (August 28 – September 6, 2026), including the ZB6T model, which received the Red Dot Design Award 2026 'best of the best'. The lineup features compact keychain and pen lights, as well as headlamps with brightness from 600 to 2,000 lumens, equipped with Auto Focus Technology (AFT). The ZB6T, with 3,000 lumens, automatically focuses and dims, a novelty for flashlights for which the company has filed a patent. Zweibrüder's booth is in Hall 3, Stand D22.

OHI has published the agenda for the 2026 Outdoor Hospitality Conference & Expo, scheduled for Nov. 9-11 in Fort Worth, Texas, with pre- and post-conference events from Nov. 8-12. The program includes over 40 educational sessions on AI, revenue growth, finance, leadership, marketing, and operations. Highlights include the Awards of Excellence Luncheon, a 60th anniversary welcome reception, a trends panel, and expanded expo hours. According to industry data, the van economy reached 74 million presences and an economic value of 8.5 billion euros in 2025. The latest edition of the fair in 2025 recorded 107,000 visitors and 310 exhibitors from 22 countries. Italy is among the leading European producers of motorhomes, with a supply chain involving thousands of workers and a strong export orientation.
At the Tokyo Camping Car Show 2026, new camper vans based on popular vans (Hiace, Caravan, Town Ace) were presented. Models include RV Trust LIM and CROSS, Kato Motor NOCTI M, Toy Factory ZARA, LIFE WALK Plaything350, Rec-Bee Plus Livin, and CRAFT CAMPER Eleganza. Prices range from 4.68 million yen (base) to 10.62 million yen (with modifications).
At the RV Dealers Convention/Expo, scheduled for Nov. 9-13, 2026, at Paris Las Vegas, AI expert Dan Chuparkoff will lead the Super Session "AI & the Future of Work." He will discuss AI's capabilities and limitations, offering practical strategies for dealerships. An interactive session, "Beyond the Session: AI at Work," will follow for deeper exploration.
