Zion National Park restricts oversized RVs on scenic highway
Since June 2025, Zion National Park has enforced strict size and weight limits on the Zion-Mount Carmel Highway. Vehicles exceeding 35 feet 9 inches in length, 7 feet 10 inches in width, 11 feet 4 inches in height, or 50,000 pounds are banned from the route. Dutch police fined four drivers during a holiday traffic check on the A2 motorway near Elsloo last Saturday. The check targeted caravans, trailers, folding campers and motorhomes.
