Organizers of the Nature One 2026 festival at the former Pydna missile base in Kastellaun have published a detailed camping guide. Three zones are available: CampingVillage (lively, with vehicle access for motorhomes, caravans, and trailers up to 3.5 t), SilentCamp (quiet, with night silence from 10 p.m., no vehicle access on site but separate parking), and EasyCamp (pre-pitched tents by FestiTent). Prices: CampingVillage tickets from €25 to €50 plus €10 garbage deposit; SilentCamp €109 per person; caravan pitch in SilentCamp €159. Strict rules apply: no open fires, drones, weapons, or pyrotechnics; sound systems limited to 3 kW and 95 dBA; generators allowed only in CampingVillage.

2026 National Car (RV) Camping Rally in Chongqing Nanchuan: Regulations Published

Organizers have released the regulations for the 2026 National Car (RV) Camping Rally in Nanchuan District, Chongqing. The event will take place on June 26–28, 2026 on public roads without closures. Entry is free, with three categories: passenger cars (up to 7 seats), new energy vehicles, and motorhomes. Winners in each category will receive 500 to 3,000 yuan.

About a hundred caravanners gather in Husillos

The Spanish municipality of Husillos (Palencia) hosted a caravan meeting on June 19–21, organized by the town hall and the Cultural Caravaning Association of Galicia. The event brought together about thirty motorhomes and roughly a hundred participants, mostly from Galicia, as well as from Madrid, Valencia, and Castile and León. The program included a communal meal, board games, bingo, theater, a concert, a visit to the Memory Monolith, and a tour of the facsimile of the Orestes Sarcophagus. The gathering aimed to integrate travelers into village life and showcase local cultural and natural resources.

National African American RVers Association Visits Elkhart, OEMs

A delegation from the National African American RVers Association (NAARVA) visited Elkhart, Indiana, the recreational vehicle manufacturing capital of the U.S. The group of 117 people met with city officials, OEMs (THOR, Alliance RV, Dynamax), and 86 students at the Tolson Center. Founded in 1994, NAARVA has 1,800 members and is the largest Black RV organization in the U.S. and the second largest RV organization nationwide.

Gourmet picnic in a motorhome at 2,877 meters altitude

On June 27, 2026, a picnic for motorhome owners will be held at the summit of Pic du Midi de Bigorre (France). The event is organized by IRQUALIM – Les Qualivores d'Occitanie. Participants can take the cable car from La Mongie and taste regional products: AOP and IGP cheeses, Label Rouge meats, wines, and other specialties. Attendance is limited to 500 participants; advance registration is required.

Motorhome and motorcycle tourism festival opens in Wu'an, China

On June 19, the Fourth Motorcycle Tourism Season kicked off at the East Taihang scenic area in Wu'an County, Hebei Province, bringing together motorhomes, caravans, and motorcyclists. The event runs until June 28 and features three themed stages: a self-drive rally (June 19–21), a motorhome festival (June 22–25), and a motorcycle festival (June 26–28). Activities include a 50-km scenic gallery drive, open-air concerts, camping, and a stamp collection challenge at six stations. Organizers have announced 2,000 themed T-shirts with Handan cultural symbols for participants.

Over 200 Volkswagen Beetles Registered for Caravan in Morelia

The Seventh World Vocho Day Caravan will take place on June 21 in Morelia, with over 200 vehicles already registered. Organizers expect up to 600 participants from various municipalities and states. The gathering starts at 11:00 AM at Plaza Las Américas, followed by a caravan to the historic center for an exhibition in front of the Cathedral. The event has official permits and police support.

Volkswagen Beetle caravan to drive through Buenos Aires streets

On June 19, the fourth VWondio Día Mundial will take place in Buenos Aires, with dozens of Volkswagen Beetles (Escarabajo) driving in a caravan through the city's main streets. The event starts at 8:00 PM at the Galileo Galilei Planetarium in Palermo, with the caravan departing at 9:00 PM. The route includes Figueroa Alcorta Avenue, Monroe, Libertador Avenue, 9 de Julio Avenue, Colón Theatre, Obelisk, Corrientes Avenue, Puerto Madero, Casa Rosada, and Costanera. Organizers include the Volkswagen classic fan community and clubs such as Sumando Volkswagens.

Free tours of vintage trailers at Jim Sprick Park on August 15

The 11th annual Nile Valley Rally takes place August 13–16, 2026, on Chinook Pass, Washington. On August 15, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Jim Sprick Park, owners of about 50 vintage trailers will offer free public tours. This year's theme is 'The Tacky Tourist' to mark the 100th anniversary of Route 66. Dogs are not allowed inside the trailers and must be leashed in the campground.

Embouteillage de Lapalisse Festival Celebrates 20th Anniversary

From October 5 to 11, 2026, the Pays de Lapalisse in Allier will host the 11th edition of the Embouteillage de Lapalisse festival, marking its 20th anniversary. The event features 1,000 vintage vehicles, a reenactment of the historic traffic jam on Route N7, a retro campsite, and a temporary campsite. The festival recreates the 1950s-60s holiday atmosphere with concerts, fashion shows, and film screenings.

53 motorhomes to depart from A Coruña on a 12-day route to Santiago

On July 1, 2026, the 10th Yakart Camino de Santiago motorhome route will start from A Coruña. 53 motorhomes and 120 participants will travel through Galicia for 12 days, finishing at the Obradoiro square in Santiago de Compostela.

Fiat 600 caravan heads to Luján Basilica for Flag Day

On Saturday, June 20, owners of the Fiat 600 ('Fitito') will gather in a caravan to the Luján Basilica to celebrate Argentina's Flag Day. Organizers — the collector group 'Fiat 600 Los Hermanos' — invite all owners and enthusiasts to join the run, carrying Argentine flags. The meeting point is at the YPF station in General Rodríguez (Acceso Oeste) at 11:30 AM. The event combines tradition, patriotism, and passion for one of Argentina's most iconic cars.
