On 21 July in Italy, hail damaged a rented motorhome used by Belgian Nicolas from Wanze and his 9-year-old daughter. Touring assistance refused to help, stating that damage from natural events was not covered; later the insurer and rental agency became involved. After 14 hours, the client was moved to a scrapyard 30 km away, where he spent the night with the child. The return to Belgium was arranged by rental company Evasion Motorhome as a goodwill gesture; the total delay was four days. Touring and the insurance broker did not respond to journalists' inquiries, while AG Insurance said it was reviewing the case.

On 26 September 2026 at around 11:15, officers of the Saale-Orla police inspected a motorhome in Crispendorf. The vehicle had two different license plates, one of which bore a forged registration sticker. Both plates had been issued for other vehicles, and the motorhome itself was not registered. The driver also did not hold a driving licence. Reports were filed for driving without a licence, as well as offences under the compulsory insurance act and the motor vehicle tax act. The driver was prohibited from continuing the journey.
Two people were injured in a collision between two cars and a camper near Vladaya. According to police, the accident occurred around 9:30 when one car lost control on a bend, hit the camper, and then collided with another car. Two foreign nationals travelling in the latter vehicle were taken to hospital for examination; their condition has not been disclosed. Traffic at the 279th kilometre of the Sofia–Pernik road (I-1) towards Sofia is temporarily restricted, with a detour through the village of Vladaya and traffic controlled by road police.

A tractor and a motorhome collided in Rietberg. While turning, the tractor struck the motorhome's body, completely destroying it. The tractor driver was injured. The road is currently closed, and cleanup efforts are ongoing.
Eugene Springfield Fire crews responded to an RV fire on Franklin Blvd. in Springfield, Oregon, early Friday morning. The fire fully engulfed the vehicle and reached utility and power lines overhead. Crews brought the fire under control within six minutes of arrival; utility lines sustained minor damage and power to the area was not impacted. No victims or injuries were reported.

An overturned caravan has blocked the northbound carriageway of the M11 about half a mile before Junction 9 for the A11 near Great Chesterford. Traffic is building on the approach, and drivers are advised to allow extra time and consider alternative routes. Essex Police has been contacted for comment. A separate multi-vehicle crash on the M11 in August also caused major delays.

In the Great Southern region of Western Australia, a pickup driver towing a caravan lost control while overtaking a truck carrying grain. The caravan began to sway, and the vehicle left the road. Both drivers were uninjured. The incident occurred on Thursday morning on Collie-Dumbleyung Road. Western Australian authorities urged drivers to be cautious ahead of long weekends and school holidays. As of July 2026, nearly 147,000 caravans and motorhomes were registered in the state; their number has increased over the past five years. This year, three people died in regional Western Australian crashes involving vehicles towing caravans or camper trailers. Over the past decade, 17 people died in such crashes, 16 of them in regional areas of the state. The Road Safety Commission noted that 13 people died on Western Australian roads during last year's October school holidays.

As of 12:40pm, emergency services were still clearing the scene, with alternating stop/slow traffic conditions in place near the intersection of Claremont Lane and the Newell Highway.
Fire crews responded to a fifth wheel camper fire in Unadilla Township at around 11 a.m. Thursday. The camper was a total loss, while a nearby house sustained only minor heat damage. The Unadilla, Putnam, and Hamburg Township Fire Departments were involved in the response.
