The new Haruka camper will replace the popular Sakura model, produced since 2015. The price remains around 20 million yen, with a solar panel and lithium battery now standard.
Japanese company Nihon Tokushu Body has unveiled the Haruka camper based on the Isuzu Becomes, succeeding the popular Sakura model. Prices start from 19,910,000 yen to 21,830,000 yen in standard configuration without options. The model is available with single bunk, double bunk, or double bed layouts, and with either 2WD or 4WD. Standard equipment includes a 5 kWh lithium battery and a 975 W solar panel. The camper seats 7 and provides sleeping for 6–7 people.
Aliner unveiled the return of its Alite model, discontinued nearly a decade ago, at America's Largest RV Show in Hershey, Pennsylvania. The trailer has a base weight under 672 pounds, an 11-foot total length, and a 114-pound tongue weight, allowing it to be towed by small crossovers and cars with low tow ratings. It features an all-aluminum structural design with vacuum-bonded fiberglass and polystyrene core, Azdel composites, and no wood. Interior amenities include 6.6 feet of headroom, a 58-inch by 76-inch bed, two benches, a storage box, and a roof vent; no water system, HVAC, or solar panels are offered. Pricing starts at about $12,000 after dealer discounts. According to the RV Industry Association, 300,000 to 328,100 shipments are expected this year, potentially below 2023's 313,174 units.
Mohagen Bil is selling a specially built and designed Palmo Exclusive motorhome. The company says it currently has two such motorhomes, and one has recently been sold. Mohagen Bil focuses on custom million-kroner motorhomes for affluent outdoor enthusiasts. The motorhome business reported a positive year.

The roundup features five pickup truck campers that cost less than full-size RVs and travel trailers. The units range from 350 lbs to under 1,000 lbs and are suitable for mid-size trucks. Prices: Moonlander by Radica from $8,000, Go Fast Campers Platform Camper V2 Pro from $8,000, Lone Peak Camper V2 from $7,000, Four Wheel Campers Project M from $12,500, and Scout Yoho around $25,000. All are lighter and cheaper than traditional campers, making off-road travel more accessible.
Sales of new leisure vehicles in France exceeded 25,000 units last year, with 67,000 used vehicles sold. Rising fuel prices could slow the sector, but manufacturers are offering hybrid solutions. At the Le Bourget exhibition, models with fuel consumption below 7 litres per 100 km were presented, though the main problem remains vehicle weight in electric configuration.
Camper Atsugi has introduced the Chippy camper based on the Daihatsu Hijet Cargo. With an optional solar panel, height is 1910 mm, allowing access to underground and multi-storey car parks with a 2 m limit. The interior features a flip-up table and converts into a 1800×1200 mm bed for two, with a four-seat mode.

Forest River Park Models is introducing two new floorplans for 2027: the Quailridge Premier 355FL-L-SS and America’s Park Cabin 20FP-LT-BAR. Both will debut at Forest River’s Expo. The 355FL-L-SS features a loft under a single-slope roof, a living room with a sectional sofa, 55-inch smart TV and custom stone fireplace, and an 8-foot porch. The 20FP-LT-BAR includes a 10-foot porch with an outdoor bar, a large bar window connecting the kitchen to the porch, a queen-size Murphy bed, and 32-by-74-inch bunk beds.
Patrick Industries announced Patrick Printing Solutions (PPS), a direct-to-panel printing technology that applies graphics and physical textures directly onto panel materials. The process eliminates the need for separate decorative laminates, veneers or wall coverings, reducing supply and obsolescence issues. PPS works with composites including Patrick's proprietary NTXT, MDF, particleboard and wood products, with current printing capabilities up to approximately 4 by 10 feet and larger formats planned. The system allows digital storage of designs for on-demand production, cutting lead times from months to days.
Campers Inn RV announced “Right by You,” a promise defining how the company treats customers, team members and partners across nearly 50 locations. The promise rests on four commitments: being thoughtful, creating rewarding experiences, helping people find what is right for them and doing the right thing. The first public proof point is live on campersinn.com, where every advertised RV shows key pricing components, including MSRP, sale price, freight, documentation fee, available dealer finance incentives, estimated monthly payment and estimated total cost with approved financing, and price without a finance incentive. Government-mandated taxes, title and registration costs are not included. Campers Inn RV recently received the inaugural RVBusiness Sherman Goldenberg Award for Customer Service.

Preliminary data for the 2026 tourism season in Luxembourg show overnight stays at campsites rose 13% year-on-year to 914,000. Total arrivals in the tourism sector from January to July 2026 increased 3% and overnight stays 6%, with 950,000 guests and 2.25 million overnight stays. Hotel overnight stays fell 3% and youth hostel stays 1%. Most visitors came from the Netherlands, Germany and Belgium. Parc Merveilleux in Bettembourg was the most visited attraction with 219,693 visitors, down 6%. Public investment in tourism is set at €70 million for 2023–2027, and the ministry is preparing the next five-year plan from 2028.
Hyundai presented the Staria Camper concept at the CMT camping show in Stuttgart in January, featuring a 520 W solar panel integrated into an electric pop-up roof. The manufacturer claims the panel can generate up to 2.6 kWh per day with five hours of sunlight, providing about 12 km of additional range based on the base Staria Electric's consumption of 21.8 kWh per 100 km. Series production and pricing are unconfirmed; the base Staria Electric starts at 57,450 euros.
German manufacturer Bürstner has expanded its B66 range to three layouts. The new B66 644C features a rear U-shaped lounge that converts into a 156 × 204 cm pop-up bed. The washroom has a Vario pivoting wall, and the fridge has a 135-litre capacity. Standard equipment includes a 140 hp engine with automatic transmission, alloy wheels, Truma Combi 6D heater and a multimedia system with reversing camera. Price: €68,530.
New Zealand company Vanlifer has presented the Scout, a compact electric camper concept based on a three-wheeled electric bicycle. The project is designed for two people and has a claimed range of about 300 kilometers on a single charge. Inside, seats fold into a double bed, with pull-out compartments on the sides and under the floor for kitchen equipment. Solar panels can be mounted on the roof. The Scout remains a design study, with no confirmation of series production.
On September 25, shares of New Gonow (00805.HK) closed up 22.64% at HK$11.13 on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, giving the company a market capitalisation of HK$10.685 billion. The stock has risen almost 1,072% year-to-date. The rally followed Chinese government measures to support motorhome consumption, including a seven-point plan, as well as order book growth and a proposed NZ$338 million acquisition of New Zealand's THL. However, net profit attributable to shareholders fell 78.47% to 6.609 million yuan in the first half of 2026, and the founder reduced his stake during the share price surge.
First Camper, based in Hasede near Hildesheim, has introduced the Micro mini caravan, weighing 299 kg with a base price of €4,899. The model measures 370 x 157 x 193 cm externally and 253 x 110 x 125 cm internally, has a maximum gross weight of 750 kg and can be towed with a category B licence. Standard equipment lacks a mattress, kitchen and electrics; the kitchen pulls out from under the sofa via the rear door, and the sofa bed (190 x 110 cm) can be supplemented with a roof tent for four people. With options, the price reaches €15,221, with a delivery time of about 4 months.
Frankia has expanded the Noctra range with the fully integrated Noctra Liner 7.6 based on the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter. It premiered at a trade fair and is priced from 157,000 euros in its base version. The vehicle features an open living concept, two exterior design options, a central technical compartment on the left side, an optical mirror replacement system, and full LED lighting.
thl has released an In The Spotlight video about selling motorhome holidays in Australia and New Zealand. According to Deborah Kelly, Head of Sales – UK and Ireland at thl, selling these trips is easier than many travel agents think: the product combines accommodation and transportation, the average rental length is 14 nights, and customers plan their own routes. The video mentions four brands (Maui, Britz, Apollo and Mighty), around 17 different layouts, the free thl Roadtrip App with a campsite map and how-to videos, and an on-road care team available at any time. thl is also running a competition to win a 10-day free rental of a maui Ultima Plus motorhome in Australia or New Zealand.

China's State Council, through ten government bodies, issued its first systemic measures to develop the motorhome and caravan market. In 2025, sales of motorised motorhomes exceeded 20,000 units for the first time, with camper van sales up 85.61% and new-energy motorhome sales up 229%. Mandatory scrappage is removed for light non-commercial motorhomes, while the service life for rental motorhomes is extended from 15 to 25 years and for caravans from 15 to 20 years.
