Annex RV has unveiled the Liberty 52 REi, a motorhome measuring about 5.2 m in length, shorter than a Toyota Hilux (5.3 m) or VW Amarok (5.35 m). It is built on a Toyota Camroad chassis with a 3.0-liter diesel engine (144 hp) and a 6-speed automatic transmission; all-wheel drive is optional. The rear entry allows a large U-shaped dinette that converts into a bed for three, plus an overcab bed for two. The motorhome includes a kitchen with a two-burner stove, sink, microwave, and 85 L refrigerator, as well as a wet bath with shower and cassette toilet option. The electrical system features a lithium battery up to 9.6 kWh, a 3000 W inverter, and 420 W solar panels. Price in Japan is 15.96 million yen; European export is not currently planned.
