SAIC Maxus has launched hybrid MPVs Mifa 7 and Mifa 9, targeting family travel and road trips. Both models feature the ACIS system with a 1.5L engine and electric motor, offering a combined range of up to 1327 km and fuel consumption below 7 L/100 km when the battery is depleted. The Mifa 7 (mid-size) is priced from 19,990 to 24,990 yuan, while the Mifa 9 (full-size) ranges from 26,990 to 34,990 yuan. They support fast charging and 6.6 kW external power supply, suitable for camping.

Spanish outfitter Cíclope Camper has introduced three camper van models based on the Chinese Maxus Deliver 9 van. The Mencía 230, 420, and 420e models feature high-quality finishes, including natural stone and Corian, and are manufactured in Spain. Prices start from €51,231 excluding VAT. The company plans to enter the German market next year.

Maxus Deliver 9 Ciclope Mencia: Electric Motorhome on a Chinese Platform

The Spanish manufacturer Ciclope has introduced the Mencia, a fully electric motorhome based on the Chinese Maxus Deliver 9 van. It is a full-size motorhome with a fixed layout and a pop-up roof, with market launch planned for 2026. The battery with a capacity of about 88 kWh provides a WLTP range of about 350 km in the commercial version, which will be lower in the camper configuration.

The Maxus Deliver 9 Camper, a conversion by La Marca on a Maxus Deliver 9 base, has been announced for Austria. It is priced at approximately €54,000 and includes standard features like a fridge-freezer, induction hob, microwave, wet room, and awning. The drawback is the limited sleeping space, with a transverse bed considered too optimistic for the European market. The vehicle is powered by a 2.0-liter turbo diesel engine producing 145 hp and 375 Nm.
