A motorhome was completely destroyed in a fire along Westside Road Friday evening, north of the Wilson's Landing Fire Department. The fire started before 5:45 p.m., and crews extinguished it within five minutes, but the vehicle was a total loss. The owner was present, and the fire appears to have been accidental. Fire officials expressed concern over dry conditions and urged caution against backcountry burning.
