Japan Camping Car Show 2026 took place in Makuhari, Chiba, from January 30 to February 2. The event attracted a record 52,000 visitors and 450 exhibits, according to some sources; others report over 180 participants and 450 vehicles.
A key trend was the reduced number of campers based on the Toyota Hiace due to shortages of base chassis. Interest grew in compact and economical models, as well as campers based on the Italian Fiat Ducatoⓘ van. A new model based on the Suzuki Jimny was also presented.
