Residents of Llanberis (Gwynedd, Wales) are urging the council to strengthen enforcement against caravans and motorhomes that ignore the overnight parking ban at the Y Glyn lakes, known as the 'Lagoons'. Despite the creation of the official paid Arosfan site and double yellow lines, offenders continue to park for free on the road and in other areas, using public toilets and leaving rubbish and waste.
The council has begun an official review of parking restrictions in the area, but residents doubt the effectiveness of measures without constant monitoring.
