US electric RV manufacturer Lightship is expanding its production facility in Colorado. The plant area will increase from 32,000 to 76,000 square feet (from 3,000 to over 7,000 square meters), enabling a more than fourfold increase in production capacity by the end of 2026. The expansion is expected to be completed by summer 2026.
The company has also simplified its AE.1 model lineup, making the 77 kWh battery pack standard on all vehicles. The starting price for the AE.1 is $157,500.
