German magazine Auto Zeitung has published a ranking of five new campervans priced under 50,000 euros, each equipped with a shower and toilet. The list includes the Forster Livin' Up Pro V 599 HBL (from €43,690), Bürstner Papillon (under €40,000), LMC Innovan Pure 600, Carado CV540, and Clever Vans Drive 600 Kids. All featured vans range from 5.4 to 6.4 meters in length and are based on Citroën Jumper or Peugeot Boxer chassis.

The 2026 camper van market is split into two segments: affordable entry-level models and off-road versions for adventure travel. Budget options include the Bürstner Papillon from €39,999 and the Forster Livin'up Pro, while off-road models feature the Adria Supertwin 4x4 on a Mercedes Sprinter base and the Hymer Grand Canyon S 700 CrossTrail. New layouts are also introduced, such as the Carado CV 541 Pro with a separated cab and rear seating group.

Carado is running a contest for a romantic camping weekend in the Alps. The prize includes a four-day rental of a T338 pro+ motorhome in June 2026 and three nights at a wellness campsite in Austria. Entry requires completing a form, and the winner must sign a rental agreement.
