On the RA13 motorway in Duino Aurisina (Trieste province), a vehicle towing a caravan lost control and veered off the road in the direction of Venice, leaving the trailer on a side parapet or guardrail. Sources differ on the date: one says July 20, 2026, around 13:30, while others report July 29.
The driver and passengers were unharmed. According to one source, the driver was a Belgian family in an SUV; other sources simply mention a car with a trailer. Firefighters from Trieste and Opicina used a crane to secure the trailer and return it to the road, after which it was loaded onto a tow truck. The car continued its journey. Road police were on site.
