On the morning of July 1, 2026, a fire broke out inside a caravan in Millau (Aveyron) and spread to a canopy, terrace, and vegetation. According to some sources, the incident occurred in the courtyard of a residential building near the hospital, possibly due to a gas cylinder explosion; others specify the location as Rue Marcel-Paul.
The caravan was completely destroyed, and about 500 m² of vegetation burned. Eleven firefighters with three hoses were deployed and prevented the fire from spreading to neighboring structures. No injuries were reported.
