Electric campers at Caravan Salon 2026: Eifelland Relax and Wavecamper

Nissan and Eifelland presented the fully electric Relax camper van at the Caravan Salon 2026 in Düsseldorf, based on the Nissan Interstar-e. Price starts at €89,900. The vehicle features an 87 kWh battery with a WLTP range of up to 410 km, a 105 kW (143 hp) motor, and 300 Nm torque. Interior includes a fixed bed (1.90×1.60 m), a kitchen with a 90 L fridge, induction hob, and sink, plus 2.6 m³ of storage. Curb weight is 3,065 kg, gross weight 3,500 kg, payload up to 435 kg. Standard equipment includes automatic climate control, wireless smartphone integration, a 22 kW onboard charger, rearview camera, parking sensors, and driver assistance systems.

German manufacturer Eifelland has unveiled the Relax model at the Caravan Salon 2026 — a fully electric motorhome. It offers a WLTP range of up to 410 km, 22 kW AC charging and 130 kW DC fast charging. The Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) function powers the standard Truma Eezy heater from the high-voltage battery, eliminating the need for gas bottles. Standard equipment includes automatic climate control, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, inductive charging, and multiple driver assistance systems. Price: €89,900.

Berlin-based converter Wavecamper has turned the Ford Transit Custom into an electric camper van. The 71 kWh battery provides a real-world range of about 350 km, with the official WLTP figure at 372 km. Furniture is made at the company's own factory in Poland, while sales and service are handled from Berlin. Several engine options are available, including an all-wheel-drive version with 160 kW.
