Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles has introduced the Good Night pack for the electric ID. Buzz van, turning it into a micro-camper without irreversible modifications. The kit includes a fold-out bed (2.03×1.20 m according to one source, 2.0×1.2 m according to another), a set of blinds, ventilation grilles, a folding table and two chairs. A pop-up roof, kitchen and toilet are not included.
The software adds an Overnight mode (also called "Übernachten" in another source) that maintains a comfortable cabin temperature for up to 48 hours. The V2L function powers external devices with up to 2000 W (2 kW). The pack is available for all passenger versions of the ID. Buzz and fits both short and long wheelbases.
Pricing starts at 2600 euros in Germany; in Belgium it is 2740 euros (or 2470 euros according to another source). The pack is not yet available in France, with sales expected in late 2026. Volkswagen confirmed availability for right-hand-drive markets, including the UK.
