The motorhome market in France has grown significantly: in 2010 they accounted for only 5% of new vehicle sales, but now camper vans and vans dominate. Due to high prices for new models (from €45,000 for a camper van and €50,000 for a van), buyers increasingly turn to used options. Joa By Pilote has introduced the 60G camper van based on the Fiat Ducato. The 5.99 m long and 2.05 m wide model features a 2.2-liter 140 hp engine and automatic transmission as standard. Designed for two people, it includes a permanent bed of 144×180 cm, a kitchen with a 133 L refrigerator and two-burner stove, and a bathroom with shower. Starting price is €59,900.
Pilote has introduced the P 690 D Evidence profile based on Fiat Ducato 140 hp, 6.99 m long. The model lacks a fixed bed, which allowed for increased interior space. Price starts at €74,900.
Camping-Car Magazine issue 396 is now on sale. It reviews compact profiled motorhomes without a drop-down bed, routes through French castles, and spring 2026 novelties: Pilote P720FC and Rapido C66.
French manufacturer Joa By Pilote has unveiled the updated 54G camper van for the 2026 model year. The model, measuring 5.41 m in length and 2.05 m in width, is built on a Fiat Ducato chassis with a 2.2L engine (140 hp) and an automatic transmission. The camper van features two sleeping berths measuring 133×190 cm, a kitchen, a bathroom, and starts at a price of 58,900 euros.
In April 2026, France will host four major exhibitions of motorhomes, campers and caravans: in Annecy, Toulouse, Saint-Dizier and Nancy. The events will feature dozens of manufacturers and hundreds of vehicles.
French manufacturer Pilote has launched its limited Sélection series, featuring two 7.2-meter motorhomes. The T720 FGJ and T720 FC models come with an automatic transmission, a 140 hp engine, and a base price of €78,900, positioning them between the standard and premium ranges.

From March 13 to 15, DLF Caravan will hold open days at via Santo Spirito 96 in Caltanissetta. The dealership offers sales, rental, and technical service for motorhomes and is an official dealer of Carthago, Malibu, Pilote, and Chausson. It is the first dedicated motorhome concession in central Sicily, serving the provinces of Enna, Agrigento, and Caltanissetta.

Japanese dealer Mishima Daihatsu has unveiled the compact camper Quokka Japandi based on a passenger car. The interior uses local fir and scallop shell paint for humidity and odor control. Base price is 3.19 million yen.
French manufacturer Pilote has updated its range of profile motorhomes and introduced the new narrow Atlas series for 2026. The A630G and A690GJ models, measuring 6.30 and 6.99 meters in length respectively, are built on a Ford Transit chassis and feature a width adapted for European roads. The manufacturer claims the reduced dimensions improve maneuverability without sacrificing living space due to optimized layouts.

New motorhome registrations in Sweden in 2025 increased by almost 46%, reaching 4,200 units. Meanwhile, new caravan registrations decreased by over 15%. Four manufacturers — Adria, Kabe, Knaus, and Pilote — accounted for over 30% of new motorhome sales.
From October 28 to November 1, the exhibition park in Alès will host a motorhome and camper van show. The event will feature 2022 models from over 20 brands, including Adria, Hymer, and Pilote, with exhibits ranging from compact profile motorhomes to vans with pop-up roofs.

German magazine Promobil has published an overview of motorhomes with unusual layouts. Models from various manufacturers, including Hymer, Pilote, and Eura Mobil, feature bathrooms at the rear, eliminate fixed beds in favor of lift-up or roof beds, and offer enlarged living areas. Most of the featured models are between 6 and 6.4 meters long and are designed for 2-4 sleeping berths.
