Volks Power 2026

Volks Power is a four-day air-cooled Volkswagen festival held at Thornley Hall Farm in County Durham, bringing together VW enthusiasts from across the North of England and Scotland for one of the premier VW events in the north. At least 50% of the vehicles on display are air-cooled classics — split-screen and bay-window Buses, early Beetles, Type 3s, and Karmann Ghias — reflecting the passionate air-cooled community that makes this festival special.

Thornley Hall Farm provides a working farm setting in the former Durham coalfield landscape of County Durham, giving Volks Power a distinctly northern character. The four-day August event allows for a proper camping VW festival experience, with evenings around campfires, live music, and the camaraderie of the northern VW community.
