Starting July 7, new EU safety regulations will apply to newly registered motorhomes. Industry estimates suggest prices will rise by 1,000 to 3,000 euros. The rules mandate eight driver assistance systems, including automatic emergency braking, lane keeping, and a rearview camera. Models already produced with existing type approval can still be registered without the new systems for a limited period.
