The project for a large motorhome eco-area in Los Nietos (Murcia) has passed the public consultation phase. The investment is €1.8 million, with 229 motorhome pitches, 10 public motorhome parking spaces, and 10 car parking spaces. The facility will be on a 68,285 sq m plot in El Limonar, near the Mar Menor. Amenities include reception, supermarket, bar, sanitary blocks, washing areas, recycling, water and electricity supply, plus a pool, playground, mini-golf, outdoor gym, barbecue zones, and rental of e-bikes and kayaks. It will create 18 direct jobs. Access is from the RM-F54 road, and the camping area is outside the flood zone. The project aims to attract year-round visitors.
