After an eviction order came into force in Bristol, dozens of abandoned vehicles were left on roads around the Downs. Judge John Napier granted the council an antisocial behaviour injunction, citing a risk to the public due to littering and pollution. The council reported that since its new policy launch, it has worked with almost 100 people, moving four onto meanwhile sites and one into social housing.
