From June 18 to 21, 2026, the Midsummer Bulli Festival will take place on the south beach of the island of Fehmarn (Baltic Sea). 2,840 Bulli campers are registered for the festival, with up to 40,000 guests expected. Entry is free; a fee is charged only for overnight stays.
The program includes live music, a convoy of 500 vehicles, contests, workshops, and a camper exhibition. First held in 2014 with about 200 vehicles, the event has become Europe's largest Bulli gathering. Participants call it the "Woodstock for Bulli drivers." Among the attendees is carpenter Peter Warentin from the Lippe district with a 1978 VW T2b, who uses a trailer for interior order.
From 2027, the south beach site will be developed with a hotel and apartments; organizers are looking for a new location.
