Volkswagen ID. Buzz 4MOTION: electric van finally gets all-wheel drive

Volkswagen has introduced the all-wheel-drive version of the ID. Buzz, designated 4MOTION. The new variant features two electric motors with a combined output of 340 hp (250 kW), providing power to both axles. Maximum towing capacity for the standard wheelbase model is 1,800 kg, 600 kg more than the rear-wheel-drive version. The long-wheelbase version can tow up to 1,600 kg. Additional updates include the Connected Travel Assist driver assistance system with traffic light recognition, Vehicle-to-Load function (up to 2 kW), a new Innovision infotainment system with an app store, and a redesigned multifunction steering wheel.
