Berlin's private car ownership per 1,000 residents fell from 291 in 2021 to 275 in 2024. Meanwhile, motorhome registrations more than doubled over 15 years, from 8,011 in 2010 to 19,029 in 2024. The lowest car density was in central Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg (168 per 1,000), and the highest in outer Steglitz-Zehlendorf (364).
