A black Knaus R07 with registration TÜ SQ 56 was stolen in Unterjesingen over the weekend of 12–13 September 2026. Tübingen police are asking for information.
CARAVANING has compiled a list of seven tandem-axle caravans aimed at couples. Single-axle models are typically limited to around eight metres in length and two tonnes gross weight; tandem axles allow lengths over nine metres and gross weights from 2.5 tonnes. Bergholm Försäljning AB has appointed Tenhult Fritidscenter as a new Knaus dealer. The cooperation starts immediately and covers both motorhomes and caravans. Tenhult Fritidscenter is located in Jönköping Municipality and has modern premises with exhibition space and a full workshop. Sales begin at the Elmia Husvagn Husbil show, currently taking place in Jönköping.
The autumn season offers opportunities to use caravans and motorhomes and to purchase them. According to Dags Husvagnscenter, autumn clearance means around 20–25 vehicles are sold with autumn offers, while new 2027 models arrive. Among the new models is the Knaus Nordwind, a new caravan series adapted for Nordic conditions. On 19–20 September the centre holds a weekend with campaigns and open viewings. Autumn also concludes the company's 40th anniversary.

The Caravan Xpo exhibition will be held from September 17 to 20 at X Meeting Point on Hellerudsletta, north of Oslo. It will feature more than 20 motorhome and caravan brands, including Adria, Hymer, Knaus, and others. Organizers expect the on-site camping area to be larger than in previous years. A Caravan.no store will offer accessories and discounts. A day ticket costs NOK 250, a four-day pass NOK 800, and camping NOK 300 per night.
At CARAVAN SALON in Düsseldorf, the ADAC Camper of the Year 2026 final concluded. Sascha Beckel and Franziska Weigert won, while a Thuringian team took third place.
German manufacturer Knaus Tabbert has introduced the compact camper Weinsberg CaraTour 600 ME based on the Fiat Ducato 8. IMTEST conducted a comprehensive test of the vehicle. The 599 cm long and 205 cm wide camper features a pop-up roof, shower, toilet, kitchen, and sleeping accommodations. The test vehicle was priced at 72,348 euros.
IMTEST tested the Knaus VAN TI 650 MEG Vansation, a hybrid of a partially integrated motorhome and a camper van based on the MAN TGE with 140 hp and a six-speed manual gearbox. The vehicle features compact dimensions and good maneuverability. The review highlights easy controls, a clear view, and a 142-liter refrigerator, but notes the kitchen and dining areas are cramped, and the ladder to the rear bed can detach easily.
At the Caravan Salon in Düsseldorf, Knaus presented the new Van TI Plus, a premium low-width motorhome built on a Volkswagen Crafter chassis. It measures 6.99 meters in length, has a reduced width, and an interior height of nearly two meters. The standard engine is a 2.0 TDI with 140 hp and a manual gearbox; options include a 163 hp version with automatic transmission and 4Motion all-wheel drive. Standard equipment includes LED daytime running lights, air conditioning, adaptive cruise control, a 10.4-inch multimedia system, and a rear camera. The living area features twin rear beds, a kitchen with two gas burners, a 157-liter fridge, a bathroom, and Truma Combi 6 diesel heating. The recommended price in Spain starts at around €90,000, excluding taxes.

The world's largest caravan fair, Caravan Salon in Düsseldorf, runs from August 28 to September 6. Manufacturers focus on updates, including the electric VW ID. California and a Wavecamper based on Ford Custom.

According to the Swedish Caravan and Motorhome Industry Association, new motorhome registrations in Sweden rose by more than 50% in the first eight months of 2026 compared with the same period last year. The leading brands are Adria, Pilote and Bürstner, with a combined market share of 25%. Bürstner nearly tripled its registrations in a year, while Knaus saw a 10% decline. Caravan registrations also increased, but by only 5%.
12 finalists will compete for the title 'Camper of the Year 2026' on September 5 at CARAVAN SALON. The main prize is a trip to North America worth over 8000 euros.
At the Salone del Camper trade fair, scheduled for September 12-20, 2026, in Parma, manufacturers are showcasing their 2027 lineups, ranging from compact campers to luxury motorhomes. Highlights include the Morelo Palace 2027, priced up to half a million euros, telescopic caravans by Beauer, the all-season Knaus Nordwind, and the off-road Atlantis Carbon 4×4 based on the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter. Other models feature innovative layouts, modular garages, and enhanced comfort solutions.
Knaus has unveiled the updated Sky TI based on the VW Crafter with a wide-track axle, new wheelbase and automatic transmission as standard. Inside, there is seating for four, a level floor, a spacious bathroom with separate shower and beds around two metres long. Standard equipment includes a heated double floor, a 157-litre compressor fridge, a 100 Ah LiFePO4 leisure battery and a Truma diesel heater. Three floorplans (650 MEG, 700 DEG, 700 DX) are available in Silver Metallic or Solid Grey, with prices starting at €99,900.
The ADAC has published a ranking of the most sought-after campsites among German campers. 39 of the top 100 sites in Europe are in Germany, nine more than last year. In the regional list for Rhineland-Palatinate, five Moselle sites lead, with Knaus Campingpark Bernkastel-Kues at the top. Campingpark Echternacherbrück and Prümtal-Camping Oberweis also made the top ten.

Wildwood Camping Harz near Clausthal-Zellerfeld has pitches from 36 euros per night, while KNAUS Campingpark Walkenried includes pool access. Camping Braunlage suits hikers, Kreuzeck near Hahnenklee offers lakeside camping, and Polstertal near Altenau has wine-barrel accommodation from 35 euros. Harz-Camp Bremer Teich was ranked the most popular site in Saxony-Anhalt by Pincamp.
The ADAC's PiNCAMP Most Wanted 2026 ranking has named Knaus Campingpark in Leipzig as Saxony's top campsite, featuring an art studio, tattoo parlor and accessible bathroom. LuxOase at the Wallroda reservoir came second, offering a conference box with Wi-Fi and a wellness pool. Campingparadies Talsperre Pöhl in the Vogtland region placed third, with regional products and a bread roll delivery service. The ranking is based on page views on PiNCAMP.de from January 1 to July 31.
KNAUS Campingpark Leipzig placed 92nd in the PiNCAMP Most Wanted 2026 ranking, based on page views by German users from January to July. The site, located within the city limits about 6–7 km from the center, offers 58 rental accommodations, year-round operation, and rates starting at €54 per night for a family.
