The Caravan Salon Austria took place at the Wels exhibition centre from 14 to 18 October 2026. It drew 46,235 visitors, confirming its role as a meeting point for the Austrian camping industry.
More exhibitors and new themes
This year the fair had more than 20% more exhibitors than in 2025. A total of 55 vehicle brands were represented. Alongside motorhomes and caravans, the focus was on camper vans, off-road vehicles and camping accessories. The new hall 22 with its "adVANture outdoor" area, devoted to vanlife and travelling away from classic campsites, attracted particular attention. Electric campers and new solutions for self-sufficient travel were also on show.
The first Camping Summit targeted representatives from tourism and the camping industry. During the five days of the fair, 1,404 overnight stays were counted on the specially set up pitches.
