On Saturday, August 8, at around 5 p.m., a car and a motorhome collided on State Road 51 near Lozzo di Cadore. Emergency services (118) arrived promptly and provided first aid to the injured. The road was completely blocked, and traffic was managed with alternating one-way passage. Two people were taken to Pieve di Cadore hospital with code 2 (non-critical) injuries. The cause of the accident is under investigation.

In Milan, carabinieri found a stolen motorhome in a depot in the Comasina area. A 59-year-old Romanian man with a criminal record was detained on suspicion of receiving stolen goods, money laundering, and forgery. The motorhome was stolen on August 3 in Bellusco (province of Monza-Brianza) and located via GPS tracking. During inspection, altered plates and a partially filed VIN were found, along with burglary tools and a universal ignition key. Other vehicles of suspected illicit origin and asbestos sheets were also found on the premises. The entire area and materials were seized, the motorhome was returned to its owner, and the suspect was taken to San Vittore prison.
A Peugeot Boxer camper was stolen from a family traveling in the Termoli area. The owners launched an urgent appeal on the Facebook page 'Camperisti di Puglia', asking anyone who spots the vehicle to contact the authorities immediately.
A 52-year-old camper driver was injured in a head-on collision with a car during an overtaking maneuver in Rongellen (Graubünden). He was taken to Thusis hospital; the road was closed for about 1.5 hours.
