Brabus has unveiled the Big Boy 1200 motorhome based on the Mercedes-Benz Actros 5. It is powered by a 12.8-litre turbodiesel producing 530 hp and 2,600 Nm of torque at 1,100 rpm, with a top speed limited to 90 km/h. The Peruzzi family from General Roca, Argentina, continues a motorhome travel tradition started by their father Héctor, who bought the first shared caravan. Today, seven siblings, including Lisandro, use a motorhome for trips across Patagonia, northern Neuquén, and Europe. They share technical advice and keep their vehicles maintained. Lisandro plans to acquire a more off-road capable motorhome to cross high mountain passes and the Atacama Desert.
The municipality of Sopela in Biscay has adopted an ordinance recognising the right of motorhomes, campervans and caravans to park throughout the town under the same conditions as other vehicles. During high season (July–August) and Easter, up to 30 spaces are reserved for motorhomes at the Urko car park, with 11 spaces the rest of the year; continuous parking is limited to 72 hours per week. The ordinance also prohibits deploying awnings, placing furniture outside and cooking outdoors, while the Urko car park provides grey and black water disposal points, drinking water filling and recycling bins.
The municipality of Llanes in Asturias issued more than 360 fines to owners of motorhomes and camper vans over the summer of 2025. About 20 fines were issued in June, 60 in July and 260 in August; local police conducted night patrols. Mayor Enrique Riestra said the measures aim to protect beaches such as Cué and Cuevas del Mar, not to raise revenue. Fines were issued for wild camping and overnight stays in vehicles; putting out chairs, tables or awnings, or hanging clothes on mirrors, incurs a 500 euro fine. Violations in a natural park carry a 3000 euro fine. Most fines have been appealed.

When converting a van into a camper, soundproofing and thermal insulation should not be left until the final stage: once the floor, furniture and interior panels are installed, accessing the metal body requires disassembly. First, apply butyl or alubutyl damping to 25–40% of each panel, then thermal insulation using closed-cell foam (EPDM) or an aluminium-foam combination covering as much surface as possible. According to rental platform CamperDays, between 1 June and 31 August 2025, the UK accounted for 23% of motorhome bookings by Spanish travellers, followed by Australia at 17% and Canada at 15%. Edinburgh led bookings in the UK, Cairns in Australia and Calgary in Canada. The company attributes the trend to multi-stage itineraries and demand for cooler climates.

The Begues City Council has put its new motorhome area project out for public consultation. The project, with a budget of nearly 48,000 euros, is in the public consultation phase before final approval. The area aims to regulate the transit and stay of motorhomes.
On the morning of Saturday, 19 September, firefighters from La Palma's La Grama park extinguished a fire in a caravan in Villa de Mazo. The fire also affected a storage room. A water tender from the Cabildo de La Palma's Environment department assisted in the operation.

The municipality of Poza de la Sal has completed a new motorhome area with 22 pitches. The investment exceeded 35,000 euros. Use will be free for the first month, after which the rate will be around 2–3 euros per day. The site includes electric hook-ups, an electronic barrier, a stainless steel drain for waste water, a drinking water tap and a cleaning point for caravans. Plans include building changing rooms near the sports area. The new area joins existing ones in Espinosa de los Monteros, Oña, Briviesca, Frías, Medina de Pomar and Santelices.

German brand Weinsberg has unveiled a new generation of its CaraCompact Edition [Pepper] motorhome, featuring a revised interior layout without increasing external dimensions. The range gains a 580 MEG version measuring 6.38 m; the 600 MF and 600 MEG are 6.75 m long. It offers two longitudinal single beds over two metres long that convert into a King Size sleeping area, a 153-litre compressor fridge (83 litres in the 580 MEG), an extendable kitchen worktop, a swivelling washbasin that turns the washroom into a shower, and a standard Truma Combi 6 heater. Grey water capacity is 95 litres, fresh water ranges from 90 to 110 litres depending on version. Price is around 70,000 euros.
From 9 to 12 October, Esquel will host the 18th Meeting, Assembly and Gathering of the South American Motorhome Association (ASR). The event will bring together representatives from Brazil, Uruguay, Paraguay, Chile and host country Argentina. Activities will be based at Los Alerces National Park, organised by the Argentine Motorhome Association (ARA), whose presidency is currently based in Chubut Province. Up to 250 participants and up to 200 recreational vehicles, including motorhomes and campers, are expected. The 2026 edition will be the first held in Chubut.
From 9 to 12 October in Esquel, at Los Maitenes campsite in Los Alerces National Park, the 18th ASR congress will take place. Up to 200 recreational vehicles are expected.
