German manufacturer Knaus Tabbert has introduced the compact Weinsberg CaraTour 600 ME camper van based on the Fiat Ducatoⓘ 8. The vehicle, measuring 599 cm long and 205 cm wide, offers a pop-up roof, shower and toilet, two beds in the rear, a large rear garage, bicycle transport and a kitchen unit with a relatively generous work surface. The test vehicle price is 72,348 euros. Testing revealed good handling and stability on the road, but noted the absence of a reversing camera as standard, limited space at the dinette and noise from electronics under the bed during charging.
