Italian motorhome maker Rimor has unveiled the Édition Limitée series of 60 numbered Ford Transit-based models from €65,900, marking the 60th anniversary of the Salon des Véhicules de Loisirs.

Rimor has introduced a revised line-up of motorhomes and camper vans for the 2026–2027 season. Changes include a wider entry door, a lighter body and a large compressor refrigerator. The wider door is intended to ease entry and exit, the lighter construction aims to improve driving comfort, and the larger refrigerator allows fresh food to be stored longer.

Rentalis, based in San Severino Marche, will exhibit at the Salone del Camper trade fair in Parma from 12 to 20 September 2026. The dealer announced partnerships with motorhome manufacturers Blucamp and Etrusco, expanding its range beyond Rimor caravans. New 2027 motorhome models will be displayed at the Blucamp (hall 3) and Etrusco (hall 6) stands, with market launch scheduled for next year.

Sun Island Camper from Gützkow has launched the world's first online configurator for Rimor motorhomes. The tool lets customers assemble a vehicle from four model lines and 26 floor plans, from camper vans to six-berth coachbuilt models, with instant price calculation and availability checks. It also displays the current weight, which is critical for models near the 3.5-tonne limit. Orders can be placed nationwide, with pickup in Gützkow.

Rimor has introduced the Kilig 56 Plus, a Ford Transit-based motorhome under 7 meters long. Its key feature is a large rear kitchen, which frees up space for a spacious lounge with facing sofas. Sleeping is provided by a drop-down bed measuring 137×200 cm, with an optional dinette bed (140×220 cm) available. The bathroom includes a fixed shower. The refrigerator has a capacity of 150 liters, and the stove has three burners. Prices start at €61,430.

Sarah Kunze and her father Ronny Schanze finished fourth in the NRW preliminary round of the 'ADAC Camper of the Year 2026' competition in Olpe. They competed with their family motorhome 'Willi' (Rimor Katamarano on a Ford chassis). Although they did not reach the national final, the father-daughter team enjoyed the event and have future plans.

Italian manufacturer Rimor has introduced the Sarus 66 Plus, a motorhome measuring 7.44 m in length, 2.34 m in width, and 2.94 m in height, with an interior height of 2.07 m. The model accommodates four adults and features a rear double bed, a drop-down bed above the dinette, a kitchen with a gas hob, a separate toilet and shower. It is built on a Fiat Ducato chassis with a 2.2 Multijet diesel engine producing 140 hp and a 6-speed manual transmission. Fuel tank capacity is 80 L, fresh water tanks are 20+60 L, and grey water tank is 100 L. The garage measures 750×700 mm. Prices start from €70,000.

In Unterhaching, thieves stole a caravan with a sleeping man inside; in Birkesdorf, a motorhome was stolen. Police arrested suspects and are investigating.

Valcaravan, a company with 40 years in caravanning, has reopened a renovated store in Beniparrell (Valencia) after damage from the Dana flood. The facility covers 5,500 m² and offers motorhomes, campervans, and caravans (new and used), plus parts, accessories, and a service workshop. It is an official dealer of Rápido, Itineo, North Cape, Sterckeman, Ranger, and Rimor. A rental service under the Walabi brand will also operate on site.

A motorhome parking lot in Alsfeld, Germany, remains full despite rising fuel costs. Tourists adjust routes by shortening distances and staying longer at one spot, but do not cancel trips. The city plans to expand the lot by 26–28 spaces in 2026.

The Polish caravanning market continues to grow. Rimor, a well-known European brand, has expanded its presence in Poland with a wide range of layouts and models. The 2026 lineup includes the Ekos, Kilig, Sarus, Super Brig, and Sailer series, covering compact campers and family motorhomes. Models will be showcased at the Camper Caravan Show in Nadarzyn on April 24–26, 2026.

A magazine has presented a selection of five new capucine-type motorhomes priced under €61,000. Models like the Rimor Kilig 9 and Challenger C 194 range in length from 5.96 to 7.25 meters and offer between 4 and 7 sleeping berths.

Italian motorhome manufacturer Rimor has launched the limited edition K-Line 69 Plus based on the Ford Transit chassis. The 7.3-meter model features a 165 hp engine with automatic transmission, a 140 W solar panel, and fuel-based heating. The base price is €62,900.

Italian manufacturer Rimor expands its Kilig line with three profiles on Ford Transit (130 hp). Layouts include an L-shaped kitchen and an electric drop-down bed. Prices not yet announced.

The Rimor Kilig 67 Plus motorhome offers a full living space with a bathroom and wardrobe for approximately 1.49 million CZK, about one-fifth the price of a 50-square-meter apartment in Prague. A standard category B driver's license is sufficient to operate it, but its dimensions (6.45 m long and 2.85 m high) may restrict access to some parking garages. With an 80-liter water tank, it provides autonomy for about 1-2 days, debunking the myth of week-long off-grid living.

The Italian motorhome manufacturer Rimor unveiled the new Sailer 56 Plus floorplan at the CMT 2026 show. The approximately 6.95-meter-long model features a spacious rear L-shaped kitchen, a standard coffee machine, and an extractor hood. The base price starts at 66,484 euros.
