A caravan caught fire in Strzałkowo today. Firefighters from the State Fire Service in Słupca, the volunteer fire brigade from Strzałkowo and police were dispatched to the scene. The fire was quickly brought under control. No one was injured.

A camper burned in a forest clearing near Ryczywół; a woman fled from it and her body was found in the forest hours later. Police searched a nearby car belonging to her partner and found four dogs and drugs. The fire is believed to have started from a gas cylinder explosion; a doctor preliminarily stated that no third parties contributed to the woman's death.

In Połajewice, Greater Poland, a camper parked at the edge of a forest burned. After extinguishing, the body of a woman, the vehicle's owner, was found in the forest.

Camping resorts in Spain are hosting themed Halloween events. HolaCamp runs activities from 30 October to 1 November, including decoration and costume contests and trick-or-treating at four campsites. Taiga Campings & Resorts holds celebrations across eight locations on the weekends of 23–25 October and 30 October–1 November, plus 6–8 November at Taiga Lake Caspe. Tamarit Beach Resort marks Halloween over four weekends from 16 October to 8 November and celebrates its 65th anniversary. Costa del Sol Glamping Village in Fuengirola hosts events on 23–25 October and 30 October–1 November. Campings de Tarragona offers workshops, costume contests and horror tunnels.

A residential caravan caught fire in Kamionka, at the intersection of Przemysłowa and Północna streets. The caravan burned almost completely. The fire was reported around 20:00. Four fire crews were dispatched to extinguish the fire and secure the area. Preliminary findings indicate no one was likely inside at the time; final confirmation will follow after a thorough search of the site. The cause of the fire is not yet known.

The Wielkopolska Automobile Club has announced the Powidła caravan rally, scheduled for 2026 in Biskupice. The event is listed in the club's 2026 calendar. Further details, including exact dates and participation conditions, were not provided.

At Caravan Salon Düsseldorf 2026, HMT Solutions exhibited five motorhomes, including two Mercedes Sprinter 4x4s, a MAN-based model, a smaller Volkswagen van and a large vehicle on a military-type truck chassis. The display was not a production line-up: the manufacturer used the show to demonstrate technology and gauge interest from European customers. Features included a carbon-fibre monocoque, the X GLOO pneumatic roof, the Xsani toilet that uses microwaves to process waste, a four-camera surround monitoring system and the Xfresh kitchen with a declared total storage and cooling volume of about 187 litres, plus an integrated ice maker and a 5-litre beer keg.

Polish manufacturer BusKamper is expanding its lineup with a version of the Albatros built on the Ford Transit L2H2 chassis. The premiere is scheduled for the Caravans Salon Poland 2026 show in Poznań on 15–18 October. The new version will offer an automatic transmission, an engine displacement of up to 2.0 litres (which maintains a lower excise duty when registered as a camper), and an optional 4×4 drivetrain. The vehicle length does not exceed 5.5 metres. Conversions can be carried out on both new and used chassis. Equipment includes a solar panel with over 400 W output and a Truma Combi 4 gas heater with hot water, powered by an underfloor LPG tank. For registration in Germany, BusKamper has partnered with the DEKRA inspection network.

On Thursday, September 24, a camper trailer caught fire in Zakopane. After extinguishing the fire, firefighters found a charred body inside. The cause of the fire and the victim's identity are being established.

A 50-year-old resident of Łuków County found an online listing for a camper allegedly located in Germany. After agreeing on payment and delivery terms to Poland, he transferred nearly 115,000 zlotys, and a company representative confirmed the funds were credited. However, the vehicle was not delivered by the agreed date. Police are searching for the fraudsters.

ACSI is accepting votes for the best campsites in the ACSI Awards 2027. Voting is online and runs until 15 January 2027. Winners will be announced in April 2027. Voters can choose in nine categories, including best campsite for children, best swimming pool, best motorhome pitches, and others. Two overall awards will also be given: 'Best Campsite' and 'Best Small, Cosy Campsite'. Prizes are raffled among participants, with the main prize being a week of camping in a luxury SunLodge at Vilanova Park campsite in Spain.

From 25 to 27 September 2026, the 4th Nadbużański Caravan Rally will take place in Drohiczyn on the Bug River. The programme includes a feast with local delicacies, live music, an open-air cinema, kayaking and tours.

A Polish couple described their transition to vanlife, starting with a first trip to Italy after buying a 20-year-old used motorhome in July 2025. Before buying, they rented a similar-age motorhome in May 2025, which helped identify faults. After the high season ends in September and October, rental prices for motorhomes and caravans drop, but autumn trips require additional spending on heating and technical preparation. On 11 September at around 15:50 in Sanka, Poland, a Fiat camper van carrying foreign travellers caught fire. The driver smelled burning, stopped on the shoulder, and all occupants exited safely. A passing man also noticed the fire and alerted emergency services. Fire crews from OSP Zalas, OSP Sanka and OSP Tenczynek, as well as police, responded to the scene. According to preliminary information, the likely cause was a short circuit in the batteries. No one was injured and no medical assistance was required.

Authorities do not allow motorhomes to park near the western breakwater of the Vistula Spit canal. The area is part of a technical road and port infrastructure where construction and camping are prohibited. The Sztutowo commune proposed hotels and a marina there but was rejected. Unofficially, the restrictions are linked to the canal's defence functions.

September 21 marks 60 days since the publication in Dziennik Ustaw of a law exempting passenger cars towing caravans with a gross combination weight over 3.5 tonnes from tolls on national roads. Xiaomi unveiled the SkyNomad N90 Max Explorer Edition in China on 7 September — an SUV with a factory-integrated electric pop-up roof. The roof raises in about 30 seconds to create a space around 2.29 m high; the upper section offers about 2 sq m of floor area and a load capacity of up to 200 kg. The second row folds into a bed measuring 1.87 × 1.24 m, and the floor is heated. The vehicle is 5285 mm long, 1998 mm wide, with a 3080 mm wheelbase, all-wheel drive, air suspension, two electric motors (210 kW front and 100 kW rear, 310 kW combined), a 76 kWh battery and a 112 kW 1.5 turbo petrol engine acting as a generator. CLTC range is 1688 km; fast charging adds about 285 km in 15 minutes. In China the N90 Max costs 269,900 yuan and the Explorer Edition 299,900 yuan. No European version has been confirmed.
