Film and television writer Leah Gauthier updated the interior of a 280-square-foot 1979 Casa Real travel trailer while retaining its original 1970s style. The trailer is located in a summer leisure park in Birch Bay, Washington. Gauthier bought it a few summers ago; the neighbouring lot had belonged to her best friend's family for over 20 years. Instead of replacing old elements, she used vintage finds, DIY wallpaper murals and pink patio furniture. The aim was to make the space feel as if time had stood still rather than modernise it.
