In Unterhaching (Munich district), three perpetrators stole a caravan without noticing that a 43-year-old man was sleeping inside. Waking up around midnight, he reported his location to the police. Officers found the caravan and arrested the suspects, aged 28, 43, and 45, who had also attempted to steal a second trailer. The total value of the two caravans is estimated at 15,000 euros; the detainees were taken into custody.
In a separate incident, between May 31 and June 1, 2026, unknown persons stole an unregistered AWF/Rimor motorhome worth about 40,000 euros from a dealership in Birkesdorf (Düren district). The motorhome was locked, and the keys remained with the dealer. The Düren police are investigating and ask witnesses to call 02421 – 949 0.
