Polski Caravaning magazine, in issue 5 (131) for 2026, published a list of seven items for autumn trips by motorhome, caravan or tent. The list includes additional heating (electric or gas, with the manufacturer's instructions and ventilation observed), a sleeping bag rated for the expected comfort temperature, a mat with a high R-value, layered clothing, an awning, blankets, and lighting such as lanterns and fairy lights. Four caravans were destroyed and a fifth was damaged in a fire at a fishing association site in Mazovia. A woman died in one of the caravans and a man suffered burns. Police are investigating.

A fire in Olsztyn completely destroyed a caravan that served as the home of an 82-year-old man. The blaze broke out after 21:00 on 23 October; firefighters extinguished it with three water jets. The man was outside the caravan when crews arrived and was not injured, but his dog died in the fire. Police have received a report of a suspected crime; the cause of the fire has not been confirmed.

Border Guard officers and police detectives found two caravans worth about 190,000 zloty in the Podkarpackie and Małopolska regions. Investigators suspect the identification numbers were altered.

Polish manufacturer Niewiadow has presented the 2027 N126 ET, a mini-caravan in production since 1973 and one of the longest-running almost unchanged series models. The caravan measures 388 cm in total length, 194 cm in width and 218 cm in height, with an interior length of 270 cm and a bed of 184 × 122 cm; the maximum permissible weight is 750 kg, upgradable to 900 kg. Standard equipment includes a two-burner gas hob, a compressor fridge, a cassette toilet, a pop-top roof with mosquito net, an 80 Ah battery and a 10-litre water canister. The show price starts at €15,060, rising to €17,491 with options, plus €795 for preparation and €99 for paperwork. The model competes with the Turkish Tosbiq TK 240 and Ankaravan Micro 240, offering a simpler specification but remaining towable by many electric cars and with a category B licence.

Polish manufacturer Vannado has started selling camper vans in France. The models are built on MAN TGE or Mercedes Sprinter chassis with lengths from 6 m (6.80 m for MAN, 7 m for Mercedes) and come in three ranges: Karakorum with a rear transverse bed from €135,658, Ontario with an L-shaped kitchen from €137,187 and Altiplano without a permanent bed from €138,562. Equipment includes an automatic gearbox, a 6000 W heater and a solar panel, while a roof tent is optional. Wild Campervan, already distributor of Norantz, FurgoK and Bunkervan, is handling imports. The vans will be displayed at Vanlife Expo Bordeaux on 14 and 15 November 2026.

Compass RV has moved its headquarters to Włocławek and became the second recipient of support under the «Startuje(my) we Włocławku» programme. The manufacturer plans to expand its production facilities, purchase specialised equipment and develop caravan rental services. The project received the highest score from the substantive committee, 53 points (42 for the business plan and 11 for the presentation), and includes a non-repayable grant of 100,000 zł plus a training and mentoring package worth 20,000 zł. The caravans are designed for caravanning, mobile tourism and off-road trips, and feature off-grid solutions for use outside traditional campsite infrastructure. The company is also developing an online booking system, a caravan configurator and online payments.

The 62nd Radzyń Meetings with Travellers took place on 23 October at the public library in Radzyń Podlaski. Aldona and Daniel Sagan, known online as KamperManiacy, have lived in their green camper van, nicknamed Groszek, since 2019. They described a route from Lublin to Dakar that ended in Gambia and included about 470 km across the Sahara. On the road their camper van was damaged, including a tyre, a wheel rim and an oil cooler.

A caravan burned down in the village of Skrajne, Drużbice commune, Łódź Voivodeship. Firefighters were called shortly before 20:00 and found the caravan fully ablaze on arrival. Four fire crews attended, and an ambulance took a 51-year-old man to hospital with severe burns to his hands and face. The injured man left the caravan on his own, and the caravan was completely destroyed. The probable cause was given as stray sparks.

A caravan worth nearly 200,000 zloty was stolen in Germany about 18 months ago. In October 2026 the vehicle was found in a holiday resort in Koscierzyna County, Pomeranian Voivodeship. Its identification markings had been destroyed. Police detained a 49-year-old woman and charged her with handling stolen goods; she faces up to two years in prison.

A caravan standing across the roadway caused a major traffic jam on the Lublin bypass between the Szerokie and Węglin junctions. At one point the queue stretched for several kilometres. According to the duty officer of the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways, the owner managed to move the caravan onto the shoulder, and traffic flow was restored.

The largest caravanning fair in Poland, Caravans Salon Poland 2026, has started in Poznań. Exhibits include a land yacht worth over a million euros and Niewiadów mini-trailers.

Polish company Wavecamper has launched the Flex E-Line camper based on the Ford E-Transit Custom. It offers rear- or all-wheel drive, up to 380 km range, priced from €102,900.

A caravan caught fire in Strzałkowo today. Firefighters from the State Fire Service in Słupca, the volunteer fire brigade from Strzałkowo and police were dispatched to the scene. The fire was quickly brought under control. No one was injured.

A camper burned in a forest clearing near Ryczywół; a woman fled from it and her body was found in the forest hours later. Police searched a nearby car belonging to her partner and found four dogs and drugs. The fire is believed to have started from a gas cylinder explosion; a doctor preliminarily stated that no third parties contributed to the woman's death.

In the first half of 2026, 1,277 new motorhomes were registered in Poland, an increase of 11.9% year-on-year. The market for used imported motorhomes is growing even faster, at several thousand units per year. Prices for new campervans start at around 250,000–270,000 zloty and can exceed 400,000 zloty; used models are available from 40,000–60,000 zloty. The average rental price in 2026 is approximately 482 zloty per day in low season, 550 zloty in mid-season and 676 zloty in high season.

In Połajewice, Greater Poland, a camper parked at the edge of a forest burned. After extinguishing, the body of a woman, the vehicle's owner, was found in the forest.

Polish company Everest Camp produces the lightweight Minicamp trailer for 2–3 people, designed for dual use: as a camper in warm season and as a cargo van the rest of the year. The maximum permissible weight is 750 to 1300 kg, the body weight is 430 kg, and the EVO version weighs 500 kg. The trailer falls into the light category, does not require technical inspection in Europe, is approved for registration in all European countries, and has a maximum homologated speed of 100 km/h. The base configuration comes without furniture; an optional furniture set includes a 147 x 195 cm sleeping area that folds into two sofas with a folding table.

Caravans Salon Poland 2026 will take place in Poznań from 15 to 18 October. Organisers have announced the stage and practical programme for 16–18 October.

A residential caravan caught fire in Kamionka, at the intersection of Przemysłowa and Północna streets. The caravan burned almost completely. The fire was reported around 20:00. Four fire crews were dispatched to extinguish the fire and secure the area. Preliminary findings indicate no one was likely inside at the time; final confirmation will follow after a thorough search of the site. The cause of the fire is not yet known.
